Saturday, April 28th, 4 pm.

Y’all come!
Fall River, Kansas Bluegrass Jam!

Calling all you bluegrass musicians out there. We will be hosting the SECOND ANNUAL Fall River Bluegrass Jam on Saturday, April 28th.

This gathering will take place at the old Fall River Schoolhouse beginning at 4 pm. This is designed to be a family-friendly get together, and all are welcome to come on out and have a good time.

A meal will be provided for the musicians, and concessions will also be available for purchase by spectators. We have the gymnasium and stage available for use, and room to set up in the schoolyard if the weather is great like last year.

DIRECTIONS: Fall River is 75 miles (1 ½) hours directly east of Wichita taking highway 400. Take county RD 33 (there is an old bait shop on the SE corner) south of 400 for ½ mile. After crossing the bridge leading into “town,” look to the left (east); you are there!

Fall River is 120 miles south of Topeka. Take highway 75 south all the way through Yates Center (for 86 miles). Turn right at KS 39 for 15 miles. Turn right on highway 400 going west for 7 miles, and then turn south on Co Rd 33 for ½ mile. After crossing the bridge leading into “town,” look to the left (east); you are there!

Looking forward to great music, great food, and great friends! Hope to see you there.

Looking to put a jam together and need people to play. Have an 11,000 sq ft venue in Greene County, near Lake Oconee, and want to start a regular jam. The address is 2661 Union Point Highway, Greensboro, Ga. 30642 right across the street from the Greene County Airport.

Thursday or Friday nights would be great. I have a large stage 20×50, sound system in place, complete restaurant, 2.5 acres of parking. Don’ let winter keep you from playing. Winter indoors and summer outdoor here. This could end up being one of the largest jams in Georgia.
