Pickin' and Grinnin', In the City Hall Annex, behind the old City Hall, park behind the Pizza Hut on Main Street. Lat/Lon ?34.992894,-86.849137
Every Thursday from 6:00-9:00PM
Old Time, Bluegrass and some country music, in a round-robin
format.  Numbers are drawn at 6:00, and players take turns by their numbers
leading the group.  Those who come in after the number draw gets added to
the end of the list, and play/sing/lead after all the numbers are done, then
the numbers start over.  Usually goes around twice in one session.
Facilities include a stage, dance floor (concrete, be careful with taps) and
audience for over 100, and a men's and women's restroom.  Park in the gravel
lot behind Pizza Hut.

Pickin' at the Collierville United Methodist Church at 454 W. Poplar Ave
Friday Nights - 6:30 p.m.
This is their seventh year of jamming! There is no charge and the public is welcome. Players of all levels on acoustic instruments are welcome. Winter sessions continue until April and then the music moved to the Town Square!

Old Snow Hill School , Located off Hwy 58 near Harrison Bay State Park. Turn on Mahan Gap Road and start looking to the left for the Old Snow Hill School ( About a mile-Snow Hill Rd.) It's now a fire department training facility. You cant miss it!

JAM LOCATION: Maryville, TN
Music Row of Maryville, TN - Highway 321, Maryville, TN
Monday, Friday and Saturday of each week.

We are open to amateur musicians of all ages and talent levels who wish to gather and play with other musicians and to share their music with folks who like to listen and enjoy their company.

Open mic sets are 30 minutes in duration with accoustic instruments preferred. Open mic hours are from 7:00 p.m. to 1:00 a.m.

Our facility features a main auditorium with a stage, sound system, stage lighting and seating for over 200 people. There are 9 rehearsal/picking room available. We also have a cafe serving food for the patrons to enjoy while they play or listen or bask in the family atmosphere. Our location on Highway 321 in Maryville also has plenty of lighted parking.

The cost of admission is a donation at the door unless otherwise noted. Music Row of Maryville is supported soley by donations. Your generosity is appreciated.

Every Saturday from noon to 3 p.m.
A great feature is that they often have slow jams where the music is slowed down just a bit to give new pickers an opportunity to learn some new songs. There are workshops now and then as well as special get-togethers.

"These jams can be anything to poor to great - depending on attendance. The jam is very open to newcomers, and open-ended as well. People can split off into smaller groups if the mood strikes them. The women usually gather separately from the men, who are the (in most cases) the pickers. Food is usually delicious."

The Fiddle and PIck is approx 1 year old and hosts Bluegrass, Old-time, and Irish jams on different nights. No admission but donation requested to cover utilities, etc.

2 nd Annual Tri County Jamboree Family Fun Day Arts,Crafts,& Bluegrass Festival. Our Park is located in the Old Washington Community of Rhea County on Hwy.30. We are 6 ¾ miles east of Dayton

Howdy ! I would like to invite some of Tennessee's  great talent to our 2 nd Annual Tri County Jamboree Family Fun Day Arts,Crafts,& Bluegrass Festival. This year it will be on Saturday April 17 . I hope some of you would make plans to attend our Festival and help  our Park.  Bluegrass Bands and Musicians who perform will receive a free booth to sell Cd's and merchandise.Times will be Assigned as you arrive. Our Festival is offered not only as a fund raiser for our park, but as  a day of enjoyment that can be had by the whole family.
